Richard Bodenham is a specialist Maritime Civil Engineer with over 30 years of industry experience, spanning design and site construction supervision, port planning, port project reviews for vessel owners and port damage assessments for port owners, investors and insurers.
His extensive global experience covers the major life phases of marine facilities starting at feasibility stage, progressing to detailed design and construction, and ultimately maintenance, upgrades and damage assessment and repairs. This enables him to assess port damages claims and determine how design, operation and maintenance can influence the extent and cause of damage in ports. His technical and practical engineering background is supplemented by his commercial diving qualification that enables him to cover all aspects of port facility investigation.
