Ian Sherrington is a naval architect and structural engineer with over 20 years in the offshore industry. He also has experience in tanker operations, having served four years as a deck officer.
Ian’s background is in engineering and naval architecture. His expertise spans the detailed design of fixed offshore platforms, the installation of operations involving floating production systems, sub-sea facilities and topsides float-overs. Whilst at Cammel Laird Shipbuilders, he undertook the production design during the construction of a semi-submersible drilling rig, a jack-up accommodation platform, an RFA tanker and several other military vessels.
This experience allows Ian to offer a wide range of specialist services, from ship stability, motion and mooring to restoration and repairs of all types of offshore facilities.
